Our Academics
WORLD-CLASS EDUCATION IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD
At Glendale Union High School District, academic excellence is the foundation of preparing students for college, career, and life. Guided by our Portrait of a Graduate, students are challenged to think critically, communicate clearly, solve problems, and demonstrate strong character as they move toward graduation.
Our academically rigorous curriculum is paired with high expectations and meaningful support, ensuring students are prepared for a wide range of post-high school paths. Each year, GUHSD students earn more than $100 million in combined scholarship offers, reflecting both the strength of our academic programs and the opportunities available to our graduates.
Academic learning is further strengthened through our Career Pathways, which connect coursework to real-world application. Beginning in 2026, students will have expanded access to work-based learning experiences, providing hands-on opportunities that align with their interests and help bridge the transition from high school to college, career, and life.
