Future Freshman Night Planned for January 15

Incoming high school freshmen and their parents are invited to the annual Future Freshman Night hosted at all nine schools on January 15. Each school principal, along with teachers, counselors, assistant principals and many others will be available to welcome the class of 2013. Principals will share information about the school, including the traditions and the district's high expectations for student learning. Parents will receive information about the full range of Honors and Advanced Placement Classes; Dual Credit Classes; and the new graduation requirements for the class of 2013. Incoming freshmen will be able to see all the opportunities available at their local high school including theatre, art, business, drafting, engineering sciences, media productions, journalism, dance, culinary arts, child development, foreign language, cabinet making, athletics and many more. Students who participate in extra-curricular activities tend to do better in school.
Come watch! You will be impressed and see why Glendale Union High School District continues to be a district of choice... not circumstance.
