Summer School

Summer School: June 9 - July 11, 2008

Hours
Period 1 - 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Period 2 - 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

REGISTRATION

Students may register on any of the scheduled registration dates during the times listed above. In addition, students may register without their parents if all forms are completed and registration fees are paid. STUDENTS MAY NOT REGISTER WITHOUT THEIR COUNSELOR’S SIGNATURE. Parent and student signatures are also required. If a loan is needed, parents must sign the loan form at registration.

NOTE: All classes are offered contingent upon sufficient enrollment. Should a class be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, you will be notified and given the option of selecting another class or receiving a full refund.

GUIDELINES FOR ENROLLING

REMEDIATION OR MAKE-UP ONLY - All students may enroll in either a 1st or 2nd semester class or both, providing they have permission from their home school counselor and/or administrator.

HOMEWORK - Summer School seeks to maintain the same objectives as the regular school program. It is essential that Summer School students be prepared to do homework when required.

TUITION

• $125. 00 per class per period
• $210. 00 Driver’s Training (classroom and behind-the-wheel) 

PAYMENT POLICY

• NO CHECKS will be accepted from Seniors graduating at the end of Summer School. Payment must be made by cash or money order.
• NO CHECKS will be accepted from out of district students.

A parent must accompany a student when applying for a loan. A 20% down payment must be made at the time of registration. Loans will not be given to out of district students.

A $7.00 NSF fee will be incurred for any returned check. Any student with outstanding debts at the time of graduation will not be allowed to participate in graduation ceremonies.

All checks and money orders should be made payable to GUHSD. Payments can be made in the Summer School principal’s office, the student’s home school bookstore or can be mailed to:
